Lots of FOHC workers on the 9 oclock ferry this morning despite the icy conditions
thanks to sean, jason and the team for getting the heart of the 'cinema room' out of my car and into the castle
Getting on well with the work on the new friends room thanks to lots of help from all the monday work party bods and a new helper David Palmer

What a wonderful trip home on the ferry
one of the best journeys back from the castle that I can remember

I love the variety of hats and gloves ! It was a really special start to the year - very enjoyable.

The best two quotes i heard from today were:

"the red wine is room temperature whilst the white is lightly chilled"
